Names: Mrs Cecile Manhaeve

Engaged in development work in BelaBela township in 1982. I assisted the community with setting up different community projects. I was requested by community leaders to train in HIV/Aids issues in the early 90’s. Together with some members of the BelaBela Welfare Society, I initiated the HIV/Aids Prevention Group after a successful World Aids Day celebration in 1995. I am working as a trainer and ARV roll-out coordinator for the organization and serve as the Chair of the Board of Directors.

Names: Ms Lydia Pole

My name is Lydia Pole. I joined HIV/Aids Prevention group in 1998 because I was sick. I needed support. I trained as a Counsellor by the year 2000 and now I serve as General Co-ordinator of the project and also vice-chair of the Board of Directors.

Names: Dr TRS Mahlare
Position: Secretary

Dr TRS Mahlare is a medical practitioner and has been in private practice since 1985 in BelaBela. He does sessions at Warmbaths and St. Vincents hospitals. His greatest interest in the medical field include maternal and child health and HIV and Aids management. He has been involved with the HIV/Aids prevention group since 1996.

Names: Johan Carl Adams
Position: Vice Secretary

Johan Carl Adams was seconded in 1991 as principal of Spa Park Primary School. He is serving the community on different structures and is involved in numerous poverty alleviation projects in BelaBela. Children are his passion and their development, well-being and progress is a priority ot him. He is the vice-secretary of the Board of Directors of HAPG.
